Court Line used the name Sinnington Court for just one ship.

 

She had a service history of 33 years, which included a distinguished record of service in WW2 convoys. Having lived through the war she was sold to Japanese owners and traded for a further 10 years before sinking during a typhoon.

No information currently available other than that Sinnington Court was laid up at Sunderland for a number of years during the depression of the 1930s.

It is understood that Sinnington Court (by then named Fukuzan Maru) sank 60 miles north of Saipan after the hull split during a typhoon but not futher details have been located to date.
