Welcome to the Website This section of the Benjidog website documents the histories of various ships that have either been referred to in the Recollections section, or drawn to my attention by people who have contacted me. Investigation has thrown up fascinating historical information in each case - I have not so far come across a single ship about which there is nothing of interest. I am grateful to those who have contacted me and acknowledge those who have provided information, photographs and corrections, on the Contributors page. From 24 May 2010 this collection is being enhanced by a set of histories of early Royal Navy Battleships that has kindly been provided by Steve Woodward. These will be gradually added over the coming weeks.
