Goodleigh to Gray Ranger

She was a 2,477 grt steam cargo ship that was hit on 31 May 1941 by a torpedo fired by German submarine U-147 at position 56° 00' N, 11° 13’ W. The ship broke into two with the afterpart sinking. The forepart was later towed to the Clyde and beached at Kames Bay on 3 June but declared a total loss.
