She was sunk on 12 February 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UC-58 at position 57° 32' N, 01° 44' W - approximately 3 nautical miles North-North-East of Peterhead. She was en route from Lerwick to Aberdeen carrying passengeres, mail and a general cargo.
