The Fleets

The Ryde Line started in 1870 where the London, Belgium, Brazil & River Plate SS Co., left off. Sailings to Antwerp, Falmouth, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo and Buenos Aires started in 1870. The company operated until Jan. 1874 but declining passenger numbers caused the withdrawal of the service.

Many thanks to Ted Finch for his assistance in collecting this data. The following list was extracted from various sources. This is not an all inclusive list but should only be used as a guide.
