In the table I have included information about those who served on the ships but who had a normal burial as this seems appropriate to me. In some cases further family information about the individuals may be available on the CWGC website [7].

San Emiliano

She was a 8,071 GRT motor tanker that was sunk on 9 August 1942 by a torpedo fired by German submarine U-155 at position 07° 22' N, 54° 08' W. There is a full history of this ship on the Benjidog website HERE which includes links to other pages with information about the dreadful circumstances of her loss. My old friend Stan Mayes served on this vessel but fortunately had moved on by the time of her final voyage.
