Australier was a 3,687 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1906 by Bartram & Sons for Anglier Steamship Co. Ltd. as Aldersgate. She was renamed Australier and by 1918 owned by Lloyd Royal Belge (Great Britain) Ltd. She was sunk on 29 April 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UB-57 at position 50° 52' N, 00° 58' E - approximately 6 nautical miles South-West by South of Dungeness. She was en route from Bilbao to the Tees with a cargo of iron ore.

Ava was a 5,076 GRT steam passenger/cargo ship completed in 1906 by William Denny & Bros. for British & Burmese Nav Co Ltd & Burmah SS Co Ltdand managed by zzz & Co. She went missing after sailing and was assumed lost on 26 January 1917. It is assumed that she was sunk by torpedo by this was never confirmed. She was en route from Liverpool to Dakar carrying coal and general cargo.

Ltd. She was sunk on 2 February 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UB-59 approximately 4 miles South-East by East of St.Alban's Head. She was en route from Bilboa to West Hartlepool with a cargo of iron ore.
