Baynaen was a 3,227 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1904 by W.Doxford & Sons for The Bay Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by Sale & Co. She was sunk on 25 March 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine UC-36 at position 47° 34' N, 03° 40' W - approximately 20 nautical miles North-West by West of Belle Isle. She was en route from Tegal to Nantes with a cargo of sugar.

She was sunk on 9 January 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-39 at position 33° 45' N, 29° 24' E - approximately 130 nautical miles North by West of Alexandria. She was en route from Port Louis in Mauritius to Marseille with a cargo of sugar.

Bayreaulx

Bayreaulx was a 3.009 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1895 by SSS for Bay Steamship Co. as Lesreaulx. She departed from Cardiff on 20 October 1916 en route for Montreal in ballast and was not seen again. It is believed that she was sunk on 23 October 1916 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-63 at position 50° 27' N, 11° 24' W as the submarine reported sinking an unidentified steamer in the area.

Bayronto was a 4,668 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1905 by Armstrong, Whitworth & Co. for SS Tronto Co Ltd as Tronto and owned by The Bay Steamship Co. Ltd. from 1916 and renamed Bayronto. She was damaged on 30 July 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UB-88 at position 50° 03' N, 00° 36' W - South-East of the Isle of Wight. She was en route from Havre to Barry in ballast. She survived this incident but subsequently foundered in 1919 whilse en route from Galveston to Marseilles with a cargo of wheat.

Beacon Grange

Beacon Grange was a 4,042 GRT steam cargo ship (ref) completed in 1898 by Workman Clark & Co. Ltd. for Houlder Bros & Co. She was damaged on 31 July 1917 by gunfire from German submarine U-95 at position 53° 20' N, 17° 35' W. USS Allen came to her assistance and the submarine left the scene. Beacon Grange was en route from Liverpool to Rio de Janeiro with a cargo of coal. She survived the war but was wrecked in 1921.
