Eric Calvert was a 1,82 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1889 by W. Gray & Co. Ltd. for R.Shadforth & Co. as Elmville. From 1915 she was owned by A.Calvert and renamed Eric Calvert. She was sunk on 22 April 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UB-103 at position 50° 04' N, 05° 02' W - approximately 4 nautical miles South-South-West of St.Anthony's Point. She was en route froml Penarth to Falmouth and Boulogne with a cargo of coal.

Erindring was a 1,229 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1901 by Burmeister & Wain for H.C.Christensen. From 1917 she was under the control of the British Government and managed by J.Gardiner & Co. She was sunk on 5 October 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-91 at position 43° 27' N, 02° 24' W - near the Bay of Biscay. She was en route from Santander to Glasgow with a cargo of iron ore.

Eros (Hull) was a 181 GRT steam trawler completed in 1903 by Cook, Welton & Gemmell for Great Northern Steamship Fishing Co. Ltd. and registered as H768. She sank on 8 June 1918 after striking a mine laid by German submarine UC-40 approximately 36 nautical miles East-North-East of Spurn Point, Firth of Forth.

Eros (London) was a 1,122 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1900 by Laxevaags Maskin & Jernskibsbyg for Carl Konow. From 1917 she in the ownership of the British Government Shipping Controller and managed by Fisher, Renwick & Co. She was sunk on 17 August 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UB-113 approximately 9 nautical miles South-East of Scarborough. She was en route from Newcastle to Rouen with a cargo of coal.

Escrick was a 4,151 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1910 by W. Gray & Co., Ltd. for London & Northern Steamship Co. Ltd. From 1917 she was owned by St.Just Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by Wm. Reardon Smith & Sons. She was sunk on 17 August 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-90 at position 46° 24' N, 16° 10' W - approximately 360 nautical miles North-West by North of Cape Finisterre. She was en route from Bordeaux to Montreal in ballast.

Eskmere was a 2,293 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1916 by North of Ireland Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. for The Bromport Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by H.R.Greenhalgh. She was sunk on 13 October 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine UC-75 approximately 15 nautical miles West-North-West of the South Stack Rock. She was en route from Belfast to Barry in ballast. She was in use as an Admiralty Collier.

Essonite was a 589 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1904 by Scott & Sons for Wm.Robertson. She was sunk on 1 February 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-55 at position 50° 35' N, 05° 04' W - approximately 3 nautical miles North-North-West of Trevose Head. She was en route from Caernarvon to Rochester with a cargo of stone.

Estrella was a 1,740 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1912 by Clyde Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. Ltd. for Sanwarine Steamship Co. Ltd. as Sanwarine. From 1917 she was under the control of the Shipping Controller and managed by Elder Dempster & Co. Ltd. She sank on 5 March 1918 after striking a mine laid by German submarine UC-4 approximately 5 nautical miles South by West of the Shipwash light vessel. She was en route from Havre to the Tyne in ballast.

Estrellano was a 1,161 GRT steam carto ship completed in 1910 by Ramage & Ferguson, Ltd. for Ellerman Lines Ltd and managed by F.Swift. She was sunk on 31 October 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine UC-71 at position 47° 04' N, 02° 40' W - approximately 14 nautical miles West by North of Ile du Pilier. She was en route from Oporto to London with general cargo.

Etal Manor was a 1,875 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1916 by J. Crown & Sons Ltd. for John Fenwick & Son. She was sunk on 19 September 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine UC-48 approximately 7 nautical miles South by West of Hook Point, Waterford. She was en route from Barry to Queenstown with a cargo of coal.
