Eric Calvert was a 1,82 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1889 by W. Gray & Co. Ltd. for R.Shadforth & Co. as Elmville. From 1915 she was owned by A.Calvert and renamed Eric Calvert. She was sunk on 22 April 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UB-103 at position 50° 04' N, 05° 02' W - approximately 4 nautical miles South-South-West of St.Anthony's Point. She was en route froml Penarth to Falmouth and Boulogne with a cargo of coal.

She was en route from Santander to Glasgow with a cargo of iron ore.
