Romford was a 3,035 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1898 by Ropner & Son for Britain Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by Watts, Watts & Co. She sank on 10 February 1918 after striking a mine laid by German submarine UC-67 at position 36° 54' N, 10° 24' E - approximately 2.5 nautical miles East of Cape Carthage. She was en route from Barry and Tunis to Bizerta with a cargo of phosphates.
