Sabia was a 2,807 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1903 by R. Stephenson & Co. Ltd. for Frumentum Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by W. Hollick. She was sunk on 24 November 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-96 at position 49° 53' N, 05° 06' W - approximately 6 nautical miles South-South-East of The Lizard. She was en route from Sevilla to Manchester with a cargo of iron, copper ore and cork.

Sabrina was a 158 GRT steam trawler completed in 1897 by Cook, Welton & Gemmell for Hellyer's Steam Fishing Co. Ltd. and registered at Hull. She sank on 20 May 1915 after striking a mine approximately 160 nautical miles East-North-East of the Spurn Light Vessel.

Sagamore was a 5,036 GRT steam cargo sheet completed in 1892 by Harland & Wolff Ltd for White Diamond Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by Geo. Warren & Co. She was sunk on 3 March 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-49 at position 51° 50' N, 14° 00' W - approximately 150 nautical miles West of Fastnet. She was en route from Boston to Liverpool with a general cargo which included munitions.

Saidieh was a 3,198 GRT compound-engined passenger/cargo ship completed in 1878 by Wm. Denny & Bros. for Union Steamship Co. From 1907 she was owned by Khedivial Mail Steamship & Graving Dock Co. Ltd. as Pretoria. She was sunk on 1 June 1915 by torpedo fired by German submarine UB-6 approximately 6 nautical miles South-East of the Elbow Buoy in the Thames estuary. She was en route from Alexandria to Hull with a cargo of cotton seed and onions.

Sailor Prince was a 3,119 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1901 by W. Dobson & Co. for Prince Line Ltd. and managed by James Knott. She was sunk on 2 October 1915 by gunfire from German submarine U-39 at position 34° 36' N, 27° 04' E - approximately 56 nautical miles South-East by South of Cape Sidero, Crete. She was en route from Cyprus to Leith with a cargo of locust beans.
