Trevone
Trevone was a 46 GRT sailing trawler (smack) completed in 1907 in Rye for John W.J. Tucker and registered at Lowestoft as LT.453. She was captured on 29 January 1917 by German submarine U-55 at position 50° 50' N, 05° 30' W - approximately 30 nautical miles North-West of Trevose Head.
According to Wrecksite.eu [40]:
James Rose, second hand, was son the deck of the British sailing trawler Trevone at half-past three in the afternoon of 30th January 1917 when a German submarine suddenly appeared on the surface and opened fire. Her second shot hit the peak halyards and the master and crew immediately took to their boat. They were ordered alongside the submarine and told to board her. In attempting to obey, the master and cook were both washed overboard. These two men could easily have been rescued but the Germans took not the slightest notice of them. The Master was seen hanging on to the submarine's side aft for over 10 minutes but finally disappeared.

Trevose
Trevose was a 3,112 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1896 by J. Readhead & Sons for Hain Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by E. Hain & Son. She was sunk on 18 March 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-81 at position 48° 40' N, 11° 29' W - approximately 230 nautical miles West by North of Ushant. She was en route from the Tyne to an unknown destination with a cargo of coal.

Trewyn
Trewyn was a 3,084 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1903 by J. Readhead & Sons for Hain Steamship Co. Ltd. and managed by E. Hain & Son. She was reported missing and is believed to have been sunk on 30 March 1916 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-28 at position 47° 30' N, 07° 30' W - West of Ushant. She passed Gibralter on 25 March and was not seen again. She was en route from Algiers to Middlesbrough with a cargo of iron ore. Wreckage bearing her name was found by the steamer Governor on 3 April 1916. It is not clear why the date of death of Mr. Mefful is shown as different from the other members of the crew.

Trignac
Trignac was a 2,375 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1903 by Chant. Nantais de Const. Mar. of Nantes for Soc. Anon. des Chargeurs de l'Ouest, Nantes. She sank on 24 February 1916 after striking a mine laid by German submarine UC-6 approximately 7 nautical miles West of OUter Downsing Light Vessel. She was en route from Nantes to Newcastle in ballast.

She was sunk on 22 March 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-101 approximately 12 nautical miles East of East Codling Bank Light Vessel. She was en route from Le Havre to Liverpool with a cargo of onions.

Trojan Prince
Trojan Prince was a 3,273 GRT steam cargo ship completed in 1896 by J. Readhead & Sons for Prince Line Ltd. and managed by James Knott. She was sunk on 23 February 1917 by torpedo fired by German submarine U-39 at position 36° 39' N, 02° 07' E - approximately 5 nautical miles North-West of Cape Cherchell. She was en route from London and Plymouth to Alexandria with a general cargo.
